Asian Business Law explores selected regulatory frameworks and commercial traditions in the Asian region, with special focus on China, India, Malaysia and Hong Kong. It examines a range of specific topics in the business context of these countries including the information and operation of corporations, contracts, corporate governance, foreign direct investment, intellectual property and risk management and compliance with international standards. This course also focuses on the ethical framework in which corporations should operate, the Australasian trade relationship and relevant international agreements that influence Asian businesses.
